Inside the studio

Noblecurl Atelier is a house bench for bars that leave only when temper and snap are honest—not because a shelf looks empty.

Tools stay on labeled shelves; unfinished pieces hang or cure where light is steady. Visits are by appointment so the bench stays clear for active work.

How a commission moves

Numbered studio verbs from first measure to handoff.

01. Roast

Beans are roasted in small lots until aroma opens without scorch.

02. Refine

Nibs become liquor; sugar joins on the stone for a fine particle pass.

03. Temper

Chocolate is worked on marble to a working curve before molding.

04. Mold

Bars rest in polycarbonate molds until the contract release is clean.

05. Wrap

Dated sleeves and a storage note finish the handoff.

Materials and pacing

Clients often arrive with a flavor note and a question about snap. We answer with origin samples on the table first, then a clear day count for temper and rest.

The slab keeps scrap ribbons so you can see sheen before you commit. That visual check settles inclusion debates faster than a menu photo.

We write down what you chose and what we refused—rushed cool-downs, overfilled molds, or inclusions that break temper—so the bar matches the honest plan.

Appointments are paced so marble stays clear between batches. If a slot is full, we offer the next window rather than stacking soft bars that bloom early.

Care notes travel with every handoff: pantry temperature, how to store away from fridge cycles, and when to book a restore if bloom appears.

Kitchen light shifts how cocoa tones read. Bring a photo of your pantry shelf if you want storage advice with the batch.

We do not promise awards or viral finishes. We promise measured temper curves, dated sleeves, and a reply when your message lands in the booking form.

If you are gifting bars, tell us the handoff date early. Sleeves and ribbons are finished after the snap test, not before the mold release is clean.
